She was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on December 22, 1930, to Joe and Cleo Collier.
In addition to her parents, Jennette was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Trull; son, Steve Guinn; and sisters, Wilma Climer and Jonell Tatum.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include daughters, Teresa West and husband Rex and Lisa Mays; granddaughter, Kaitlin Mays and her father Teddy Mays; nephew, Joey Climer, who helped provide care for Jennette; grandson, JC (Chris) Guinn and his mother Teresia Humphrey; three great grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews; eight great nieces; and two great nephews.
Jennette was an active member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Humboldt. She loved serving her Lord and others. She supported several different children's charities.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 6, 2025, in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Holloman officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour on Monday in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Helping Hand of Humboldt, Union University or a charity of the donors choice.
