Michael Hay Obituary
Michael Joseph Hay, known as “Mike”, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on April 24, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky, Mike dedicated a significant portion of his life to a career at General Motors - Harrison Radiators.
Throughout his life, Mike was a passionate individual with hobbies; he was an avid reader, who immersed himself in literature. He also enjoyed target shooting and fishing. These interests enriched his life and provided countless moments of joy and fulfillment.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dee, and their children, Michael Hay, La Donna (Virgil) Wiley, and Connie Green. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan Hay, DeaAnna Buell, Elizabeth (Kris) Priddy, and Jonathan Floyd, along with his great-granddaughter, Raegan Nugent. He is also remembered by his brother, Tom Ward and his special family friend, Carol Henderson.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, John Hay, and his mother, Lola Hickey.
