Michael P. "Mike" Hines

Michael P. Hines, 68, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. Born and raised in Lewiston, Michael was a proud graduate of Lewiston High School and remained deeply connected to the community throughout his life.

Michael enjoyed the outdoors most when surrounded by family and friends. He was an avid hunter and camper, a passionate sports enthusiast, and someone who found joy in music and social gatherings. Known for his sharp unfiltered sense of humor and had a way of bringing laughter and energy wherever he went. A lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer for his team.

Michael is survived by his mother, Darla Hines; his daughters, Tasha (David) Griffis and Mikeala (Donnie) Hemker; his brother, Rick (Terrie) Hines; his sister, Debbie (Jerry) Lyle; and his beloved grandchildren, Jace and Macy Griffis, Bryson Applegrinn, Avery Hemker. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, and friends who brought great joy to his life. He was preceded in death by his father, George Hines.

Mike's presence will be deeply missed and his memory cherished by all who knew him.

Services to honor and celebrate Michael's life will be held at a later date.
