Michael William Holland, age 65, of Biloxi, passed away on November 4, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Gulfport.
Mike was born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he also made his lifelong home. He earned an associate’s degree in Electronics and went on to have a successful career working with President Casino and Munro Petroleum.
Mike loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roger Holland and Evelyn Bilbo Holland, and his sister, Karen Holland Rushing.
Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Penny Mitchell Holland; his children, Michael James Holland (Lexy) and Sheila Marie Holland; his siblings, James Russell Holland, Linda Holland Bosarge (Ricky), and John Patrick Holland (Denise),; and brother-in-law, John Rushing. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Jasmine Pearl Scull, Kaden James Holland, Caden James Adler, and Dawson Nicholas Adler, and Edward Holland; as well as his mother-in-law, Nancy Carolyn Scull; and numerous nieces and nephews other relative and friends.
Mike spent the last two and a half years of his life at Azalea Nursing Center, where he was loved by the staff. His family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at both Azalea and St. Joseph’s Hospice for the compassion, love, and care they gave him during his final days.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation to Celebrate Mikes life with family and friends will be held on November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at D’Iberville Christian Assembly, located at 3496 Popp’s Ferry Road in D’Iberville. Services will be private.
