Michael S. Hooper, 73, St. Marys, WV, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his home. Born in St. Marys, WV, on March 12, 1952, he was the son of the late Tindyl and Rose McCullough Hooper. He was a 1970 graduate of St. Marys High School and was a manager for APCO. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a wonderful father, uncle, and friend,
He is survived his son, Jason (Destiny Kerchner) Hooper; two grandchildren, Jacob (Lydia Redin) Hooper, and Joselyn (Owen Velazquez) Hooper; one great-granddaughter, Ivy Lou Hooper; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sister, Geraldine, Nancy, and Donna; and one brother, Dave.
There is no service or visitation at this time. Burial of his ashes will take place at a later time at Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery. Ingram Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
