Michael A. Horne

Michael Horne, age 70, passed away on January 10, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1955, to Kathleen and C.J. Horne in Corpus Christi, Texas. Michael was raised in Corpus Christi and graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1973.

Michael married the love of his life, Patti, on March 5, 1988, and they shared 37 wonderful years together. He was employed by H&S Constructors.

Michael was a loving husband, father, and family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding down to King's Inn, bird hunting, and farming. For over 30 years, nearly every weekend you could find him at Pat's ranch, where he found peace and joy doing what he loved most - riding his tractor and feeding the deer, hogs, and cattle. He had cameras everywhere, and Saturday night it was pictures, a little whiskey and The Malpass Brothers on Farm Tv. Heaven on earth.

He will always be remembered for his calm and mild manner, his kindness, and his sense of humor. Michael was a wonderful husband and a loving father, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In 2021, Michael's world was made complete with the birth of his grandson, Wyatt, who adored his "Wally."

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen and C.J. Horne.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife Patti, son Andrew (Bethany) Horne, grandson Wyatt, and his siblings Patrick (Kathleen) Horne, Kay (Gary) Messer, Larry (Cindy) Horne, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Calallen Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers, Calallen Baptist Church, or St. Judes.
