Michael Howell Sr.

M chael Anthony Howell, entered into eternal rest on May 21, 2024. He was born March 21, 1950 in Eastern Maryland but, raised and attented school in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Mike retired from Startek and then became an Independent Contractor for Agero Roadside Assistance. He loved working with computers and was a medical collector for many years for Penn Credit.

 

Mike was a member of St. John Baptist Church of Forest, Va. He loved music, especially R&B, old movies such as westerns, crime shows, documentaries, history, etc. One of his favorite pastimes was creating culinary dishes and sharing with different family members as long as it wasn’t chicken. He would say “Yall eat too much chicken down here" and when he asked for dessert he wanted a Pennsylvania slice because it was bigger.

 

Mike was a people person and loved to talk but not on the telephone. Lastly he developed an absolute love for basketball, that he watched faithfully with his best 4 legged friend Kingston who misses him dearly. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife Delories and a host of amazing family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 3:00p.m. at St. John Baptist Church
