Michael, commonly known as Mike, Mikey, Ick, Ickes and most importantly Bubby, unexpectedly passed away on September 28, 2022.
Mike is survived by his parents, Amy Stoltz-Goble and Benjamin (Cheryl) Ickes; siblings, Michelle Ickes, Benjamin (Ericka) Ickes, Frank (Jacinda) Ickes, and Amity (Danny) Filion; grandparents, Mike and Nancy Stoltz; aunt and uncles, Valerie (Mitch) Pezzi, Andy (Claudia) Stoltz, and Paul (Kelley) Stoltz; nieces and nephews, Keayra, Kayleigh, Kamryn, Kennedy, Keagan, Aubry, Bella, Eli, Kaylynn, Benny, Harper and Frankie Jo, along with many other family members and friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Frank and Patty Ickes; and sister, Rebecca Lynn Ickes. Mike was a graduate of Canal Winchester High School, where he fulfilled his love for football. He lived most of his life in Canal Winchester and Groveport. He came to be an avid Michigan Wolverines and Kentucky Wildcats fan. Mike loved many things, including hunting, sports, spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed a variety of food but most importantly, spending his time with his nieces and nephews celebrating holidays and birthdays as well as hanging out at the house watching tv. Mike made a big impact in many of our lives and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home located at 587 Main St. in Groveport, OH. Service immediately following.
