In loving memory of Michael Ing, 58, who passed away suddenly on Friday, November 24th 2023.
Mike’s kind heart and unwavering generosity touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His contagious positivity brightened even the darkest days. An adventurer at heart, Mike found joy in the great outdoors, whether he was camping, hiking or biking scenic trails his love for nature was unparalleled. He brought the same enthusiasm to the annual family Halloween party, infusing them with creativity and fun; delighting all who joined.
Dedicated to his 39 year career as a senior mechanical designer at Hottle and Associates, Mike found that his genuine love for the work became the catalyst for unlocking his boundless ingenuity. He cherished working with his fellow colleagues.
Mike loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. His talents were as diverse as his passions. His skillful hands achieved perfection in remodeling the family home. Mike’s technological expertise was matched only by his love for movies and the thrill of a great game of disc golf.
His absence leaves a void impossible to fill, but his spirit lives on in the memories of those fortunate enough to have known him. Mike’s legacy of kindness, generosity and zest for life will forever inspire those who were touched by his presence.
In honoring Mike’s memory, let us cherish the moments shared and continue spreading kindness and embrace the beauty of life’s adventure.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle, and leaves a lasting legacy through his daughters, Amanda (Dylan Klein and daughter Aurora), Samantha (James Harper and her son Benjamin), and Anna (Ryan Chapman). He is also remembered by his parents Victor and Evelyn and survived by his siblings, Cynthia (John Leonhard), Shawna (Don Spaller), Sherrie (Joe Toth), Victor (Wendy), Vincent (Melissa) and many nieces and nephews.
