Michael J. Jacino

Michael James Jacino 96, of Fort Myers, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice. He had been a resident at the American House in Fort Myers since 2018. He was born on August 8, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York the son of Frank and Angelina (née Novellino) Jacino.
He was the owner/operator of a trucking/messenger service in the NY Metro area before retiring to FL in 1992. He loved and lived life to the fullest, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports, especially Gator games. He was the life of the party in all that he did.
He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Angela B. Bischoff of Estero, FL, and Lorraine Freed of Wellington, FL, two cherished grandchildren, Michele (Jon) Brisson of Ft. Myers, FL, and Matthew (Stephanie Russo) Bischoff of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and two treasured great-grandchildren, Jacine and Sydney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 63 years, Frances Jean Jacino who died September 5, 2018.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community 19680 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Detail.
