Michael Jackson Obituary
On June 9, 2024, without warning, Michael James Jackson, Sr. passed away. Known by family and friends as (“Big Mike”).
Big Mike attended schools in Prince George’s County. Later attended Lincoln Technical school for mechanics. He worked for numerous Furniture companies: C.L. Barnes and Ethan Allen. He also worked security at DuPont Hotel. His last employment was as a D.C. Government contractor with Atlantic Refinishing & Restoration, Inc.
Father of Monica Taylor (husband Marquis), Michael James Jackson, Jr. and Erica Brialle Jackson. Grandfather of Daron Sullivan, ZaDaiya Harrod, Naudia Taylor, and Kaliah Jackson. Great-grandfather of Ariyah Sullivan. Son of John Jackson and the late Nellie Jackson. Brother of Kathy Johnson, John Jackson (“Junior”) and Lisa White (husband Thurman). Four grandchildren, two great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A lifetime long friend Curtis Brown and wife Cynthia Brown and a host of the other relatives and and friends.
He will always be remembered, because he was so well loved.
