Michael Jensen Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 17, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a loyal family man, devoted friend, and adventurous soul, Michael Jensen. Born on February 25, 1950, in Virginia Beach, VA, Michael departed on September 15, 2025.

Although he was born in Virginia he experienced living in many places like New York, Bermuda, California and Montana. Eventually settling in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where he married his wife Lois. He was adventurous, hard working, and lived his life with love and kindness. Michael was a man with a heart as expansive as the open road for which he loved to ride his Harley. His adventurous spirit was mirrored in his love for antique collecting and yard sales, always on the hunt for the unexpected treasure. He was a veteran who served in the US Marine Corps. He had a long career of 23 years with Havasu Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Goathead Brotherhood. Yet, Michael's most cherished award was his family, especially his wife of 34 years, Lois.

Surviving Michael is his loving wife, Lois Jensen; his children, Jeremy O'Brien (Kay), Patrick Jensen, Heidi Demyer(Robert), Desirae Cox (Andrew), Olivia Scott(Jason Askew), Shelley Savage(Ray); his siblings, Sandra Noblitt, Lorri Larkin, Joe Johnigean (Leighann), John Johnigean (Kendra), and James Johnigean (Krista); and his 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vivian Jensen.

In celebrating Michael's life, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photographs of him on the memorial page. It is in remembering him that we keep his adventurous spirit, his ambitious drive, and his loyal heart alive.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the older order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4
