Michael C. Kasprzycki, 92, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Yvonne (Joanna) Ambel Kasprzycki, who he affectionately called "Snowflake" and "My Bride". Michael was born in New Haven on October 1st, 1933, and was the son of the late Michael and Emily Blichaiz Kasprzycki. Michael graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1953 and afterwards, went on to serve his country in the United States Army. After his time in the service, Michael attended the University of New Haven where he studied to become an engineer. He later went to work as a substation electrician for the United Illuminating Company until his retirement in 1998. Michael was an active member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union, enjoyed his many trips to Greece and spending time at the casino. Most of all, however, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. He would always be there for his children and grandchildren, whom he loved unconditionally. He would never miss a sporting event or other opportunity to be there for them; even during a snowstorm. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his children, Michael D. Kasprzycki, Yvonne Kasprzycki, and Deborah Konopka, his grandchildren, Emily and Gary Konopka, Jr., his sister, Shirley Funaro, and his brother-in-law, George B. Ambel. Michael also leaves behind his niece, Gina (John) DeChello, and nephew, Raymond Funaro, as well as many others.
The visiting hours will be Sunday (TODAY), Dec. 28th, from 2:00 to 5:00pm at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, Dec. 29th at 11:00 in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church. Interment with full military honors will follow in the All Saints Cemetery.
