It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Kassan who left us too soon on March 6, 2025. Born on August 3, 1983 in Denver, CO, Michael was a beloved son, brother, and father. His bright spirit, kind heart, generosity, and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
Michael attended Herzl Jewish Day School, Kent Denver School, George Washington University, Ben-Gurion University in Israel, and the University of Denver, where he received a degree in psychology.
In his professional life, Michael made a name for himself in the tech world, establishing training systems for major companies in the use of virtual reality in the workplace.
Michael was a man of many passions. Sports, concerts, golf and travel were just a few of the things that brought him joy. But, above all, it was his family that mattered most to him. He was known for his kindness and the unconditional love he gave to his family and friends. His greatest love was his daughter Sophie, who was the light of his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Sophia Kassan, his sister Merrill (Eric) Ross, and his parents Dr. Stuart Kassan and Gail Kassan. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Donations in his memory may be made to Temple Emanuel Preschool, 51 Grape Street, Denver CO 80220.
