Michael P. Kelemen

Michael P. Kelemen, 57, of Donora, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 24, 2024 due to an accident. A son of the late Michael S. Kelemen III and Alva (Rudolph) Kelemen, he was born in North Charleroi on March 23, 1967.
Formerly of Monessen, Michael has been a resident of Donora for the past five years. He had been employed at the Monessen Police Department for over 27 years, retiring in January of 2020 as a Lieutenant. After retirement, Michael began working as an armed security guard at Talaria Co. and has been there for the past four and a half years. He was a proud U.S. Army and National Guard Veteran. Michael was a member of the Monessen Eagles, Raven's Club, and the Russian Club in Pricedale. He was always the life of the party, having lived life to the very fullest. Michael was very competitive in everything he was involved in. He loved going to the gym, playing cornhole, going to the casino, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirate fan.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tara (Sichi) Kelemen, a son, Jordan Kelemen (Elizabeth Fleming) of Donora, Jordan's sister, Carly (Jacob) Bond of Speers, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Frank Berarducci of West Newton and Michele and Keith Conte of Rostraver Twp, and many nieces and nephews.
