Michael was born on October 7, 1950, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Lynch) Klingler in Winona, Minnesota. He loved fishing, going on afternoon drives, watching wildlife, camping, and having BBQ's. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He will be remembered for his strong-willed and easy-going nature. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his children; Allison Uphoff and Libby Bardwell; special friend; Phyllis; siblings, John, Peggy, Darlene (Larry) Kolles, and Joyce (Bob) Elliott; 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ed, and sister-in-law, Cheryl.
