Michael Kocyan Obituary
Michael Kocyan, age 73, passed away on September 24th, 2025.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, he graduated from Langley High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army.
He was a talented welder and served his community by volunteering with the North Shenango Fire Department as both a firefighter and EMT as well as a member of the Vietnam Vets Post 52 in Meadville.
In his free time, Mike enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, William G. and Susan (Pallotti) Kocyan.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maria (Norkevicus); Daughters, Amanda, Erin, Sarah and her husband, Mauricio Nova; Grandson, Leonidas Michael Nova; Siblings, Susan and Gene Mehring, Maryanne and her late husband, Jerry Papinchak, Edward and Holly Kocyan and numerous nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be on Saturday, October 11th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 US Hwy 6, Linesville, PA 16424. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th, at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Full military honors will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial check donations to North Shenango Volunteer Fire Department, 2887 State Highway 285, Espyville, Pa 16424.
