Michael Rocky Kysar Jr.

Michael, at the age 54, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time outside whether he was fishing, hunting, camping, or riding his motorcycle. Michael was a true "Jack of all Trades" and was the person everyone called when they needed a hand. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. His biggest accomplishment in life was his children and grandchildren, whom he was so proud of. Michael will be forever missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Dawn Iverstine Kysar; daughter, Danielle Nicole Kysar and spouse Michael Carr; son, Michael Rocky Kysar III; brother, Craig Joseph Kysar; grandchildren, Braiden Michael Penalber and Elizabeth Christine Carr; nieces, Kayla Danyel Iverstine, Bryana Kendera Iverstine, and Julyana Lavette Iverstine; nephews, Patrick Wayne Iverstine Jr. and Oscar Alfredo Arenivas, great-nephew, Andrew Wayne Iverstine; brothers-in-law, Patrick Wayne Iverstine Sr. and Keith Kendall Iverstine; sisters-in-law, Sabrina H. Iverstine and Roxie Danyel Iverstine; and father-in-law, Luke Iverstine Jr. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Rocky Kysar Sr. and Linda M. Kysar; grandparents, Robert Brewer, Evelyn Brewer, Johnny Durand, and Mamie Durand; aunts, Molly Veicher, Cindy Durand, and Tonya Durand; and mother-in-law, Patricia Iverstine.
