Michael Laarveld

Michael R. Laarveld, 46, of Chicago, passed away on January 13, 2022. Beloved husband of Brittney. Proud father of Michael "Mikey". Loved son of Melinda and the late Raymond. Cherished brother of Kellee (Mickey) Keehan, Debbie (Greg "Sal") Moore and Laura (Jason Stueck) Laarveld. Dear nephew of Fran Perry. Adored son-in-law of Donna and the late Thomas Tribble. Treasured brother-in-law of Sean Tribble. Doting uncle to Taylor Lanktree and Elliana Tribble. Michael will be missed by many friends and family. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 17th from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646 with a brief prayer service at 3:15pm.
Michael Larrvald loves his wife, loves his son, loves his family and loves his friends.
He loved himself and he loved life.
He loved through the pain we all know too well.
He smiled through it all and caused those that met him to do the same.
He truly cared. He truly lived and he loved truly.
You can still find this love in his sons eyes and his wife's also. So anytime you miss the man look at what he loved.
Life.
And don't take a moment for granted.
Love while you can and cause everyone you meet to smile like he did. You will never regret when you love and when you smile so do that often. He did.
