Lt. Col. Dr. Michael G. Laboube, born on May 3, 1951, passed away on September 28, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy marked by love, adventure, and service.
Michael's dedication to his family was unwavering. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pawitchaya Laboube; his sister-in-law, Carol (the late Larry) Laboube; his daughter, Onanong Khunphiluak; and a host of other family members who will cherish his memory forever.
Michael was not only an accomplished lieutenant colonel and dentist, but he also had a zest for life that was reflected in his hobbies and interests. His love for travel took him to Thailand, where he found joy in lying on the beach and soaking in the beauty of the landscape. He also had a fondness for cruising, exploring new destinations while creating unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Laboube; his mother, Helen Laboube; and his brother, John Laboube. Their loss is deeply felt, yet Michael's spirit will continue to resonate through the lives he touched.
Visitation will be held on October 5, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a catholic service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. An additional buddhist service will begin at 4:00 PM.
