Michael B. Landon

Michael B. Landon, 75, of Newington passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 after a brief illness. Michael was born in Long Island, NY to Robert Landon and Phyllis (Dusenbery) Leonard in 1949. After finishing high school Mike went to Leicester Junior College followed by the University of Miami and graduated in 1972. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1976. He met his beloved wife, Marie LaFrance-Landon in Cheshire, living in Connecticut for the majority of their lives and in Newington for 7 years. Michael enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Giants, but especially college football. He was an avid reader and especially loved detailing his car.
Michael leaves behind his best friend and dear wife, Marie LaFrance-Landon, his sister Catherine and husband Herb Baker of Marblehead, MA, his sister-in-law Valerie and husband George Preli of Plainville, CT, his niece Carolyn and husband John Gilman, his nephew Jon Baker, and his great nephews and great niece; Connor, Shane, J.J., and Julia. Michael is predeceased by his parents Robert Landon and Phyllis (Dusenbery) Leonard.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, CT.
