Michael Lee Lane, age 78, went home to be with his Lord on August 26, 2025. He served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He used his time in service to further spread the Gospel overseas; he preached Jesus in Vietnam and Japan. He studied the Word of God diligently his whole life and received his Doctorate Degree in Theology. He was a faithful minister for the church of Christ and served with many congregations throughout the country. He leaves a legacy of faith and service. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and dedicated brother in Christ who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Missy Darlene Lane White; parents, William Jennings Bryant Lane and Bertie V. Nelson Lane; siblings, James Roy Lane, William Roger Lane, and Candice Joy Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of almost 60 years, Betty Lane; children, David Lane and Sharon Lane (Ed) Chambers; grandchildren, Michael (April) Terry, Sierra (Tommy) Hartman, Justin White, Rachel (Darcy) Schmidt, Chris (Tiare) Johnston, Dani White, Noah Lane, and Jennie (Tristian) Goff; great grandchildren, Cherish Rose Graham, Theo Graham, Amelia Snow White, Maddie Schmidt, Eric Johnston and Lillian Johnston; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro.
