David Fitzgerald Lane

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of David Fitzgerald Lane, 55, of Aubrey, TX. He departed this life peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 23, 2025. David was born February 27, 1970, in Wichita, KS, to William Parker and Willie Mae Maxwell. David married Monica Garza on February 23, 2006, in Corpus Christie, TX. He was a cherished son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He was a devoted man of faith, and an active member of the Tri-Cities Church of Christ David leaves behind a loving family to honor his memory. He is survived by his beloved wife, Monica Lane; mother, Willie Alford; daughter, McKenzie Belindo and husband Ryan of Wichita, KS; four sons; David Fitzgerald Lane II and wife Chelsea of Wichita, KS, Deion Carlton Lane of Charlotte, NC, Dajon Isaiah Lane of Aubrey, TX, and Desmond Isaac Lane of Aubrey, TX; brothers, William H. Parker and wife Cinnamon of Wichita, KS, Craig Outland and wife Aundra of Fredonia, KS; sister, Kendra Parker and husband Joseph of Wichita, KS; six adoring grandchildren, Everett, Evelynn, Aeremy, Dallas, Daytona, and Lynnox; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, William H. Parker; brother, Kenneth Parker, and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George Parker and Mr. & Mrs. Huerie Lee Maxwell. Visitation will be held 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2025, at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
