Michael Lawless Obituary
A caring father, loving brother, generous uncle, and a loyal friend to many, Michael left lasting memories for those around him despite his early passing.
Born in Detroit, MI in 1959 to Jerome and Judith (Sherman) Lawless, Michael moved with his family to Worcester, MA in the 60s, then to Wolfeboro in the 1980s. He married Donna (Martin) Lawless in 1984 and together they had three children, Matthew, Connor, and Nicole. Michael's life and work carried him across the US and beyond.
Predeceased by his parents, Michael is survived by his children; four sisters, Doreen Murner, Cindy Melanson, Chris Ayers, and Patti Morrissey; a dozen nieces and nephews; and his stalwart companion Burt the poodle.
Calling Hours will be 4-6 PM Tuesday, December 28 at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro.
A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 29 at St Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, NH. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Colon Cancer Foundation at coloncancerfoundation.org and/or Cornerstone VNA, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867

My first memory of Mike?... As president of Congreve Hall my sophomore year at UNH, I had to check in early for a week of meetings. Mike, the tall drink of water in the corner, was president of Stoke Hall. That week was the beginning of a unique and special friendship. Many fun nights at Cat Nip Pub where he was a bouncer. Mike once said, if anyone could get me up on water skis, he could. He brought me to the lake - epic fail!
I know this is late, but I just found out about his untimely passing. My condolences to his family. He was a special human being.
