He is preceded in death by his father, Jospeh Laws.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend, Phyllis Pruitt; daughter, Emily Laws (Chris Skinner); mother of his child, Suzanne Laws; grandchildren, Parker and Cooper Skinner, Alexis Deal, Kelxie Deal, Makayla Deal, Mackenzie Deal, and Tyler Hyland; 6 great-grandchildren; mother, Edna Blair; brothers, Randy Laws, Carl Laws, Kevin Laws, and Stephen Laws; close friends, Kevin Humphrey, Keith Ramsey, and Houston Ramer.
Michael was an expert arborist. He could look at a tree from the ground up and tell you exactly how he is going to take it down. He loved his grandchildren and he will be dearly missed.
