Mr. Michael Bruce Lawson, age 59, of 4192 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at his home.
Mr. Lawson was born December 9, 1966, a son of Joyce McCluney Burgess and the late Bruce Hix Lawson. He was a 1985 graduate of Union High School and had worked at Upstate Forklift as a Mechanic. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and loved NASCAR Racing.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Beth Revis and husband Gene of Buffalo; three nephews, Dylan Lawson and wife Madacyn of Buffalo, Daniel Revis and wife Bridgett of Abbeville, and Maxx Revis and wife Ashley of Buffalo; a niece, Jenna Parker and husband Christian of Landrum; six great-nieces and nephews; two special friends, Terry “Pop” Burgess and Billy Burgess.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Putman Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Franklin and Rev. Dale McCluney.
Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the Church.

The family is at the home of his sister, Beth and Gene Revis, 334 Sugar Creek Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321.
