Michael Layman Obituary
Smiley was born on September 23, 1966, in Jay, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ross and Charlotte (Callis) Layman. Mike was very involved with FFA, he enjoyed showing cattle and pigs. Mike earned the Star Chapter Farmers Award during high school. Mike also enjoyed collecting treasures of all sorts, going to the casinos and fishing. Smiley was a heavy equipment operator and worked construction.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Ross Layman and his brother James "Gunner" Layman. He is survived by his mother Charlotte Layman, his nephew Colby Layman, his niece Cassidy Rowe, great niece Jaylin Rowe, and numerous cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Butler Baptist Church.
