Michael Alan Lee, Sr.

Smithfield, NC: Mr. Michael Alan Lee, Sr., age 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh surrounded by his loving family. A Time of Remembrance will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall of Four Oaks, NC 27524.

Mr. Lee was born on September 20, 1961 in Georgia, to the late Karl Sanford, Sr. and Marlis Inez Sertian Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Melissa Lee; brothers, Karl Sanford “Sandy” Lee, Jr., and John Steven Lee; nephew, Jeremiah Jameson “Bubba” Lee. Mr. Lee retired from John Deere as a CAD specialist and owned and operated in his earlier years Lee and Sons Landscaping. He enjoyed scuba diving and loved traveling to the beach and the mountains. Mr. Lee was known for being a friend to many, knew no stranger, and had compassion for others.

Survivors include his children, Jessica Stanley of Four Oaks, Michael Alan Lee, Jr. and wife, Erin of Florida and Christopher Walker and wife, Megan of Kentucky; grandchildren, Adrienne Nichole Olivares, Lydia Marie Stanley, Maddox Lee, Grayson Eason, Leona Lee and Aiden Walker; sister, Linda Lee Dickey of Georgia; sister-in-law, Jan Lee of Four Oaks; many nieces and nephews.
