Michael Lewis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors on Feb. 4, 2025.
Michael is in heaven; thanks be to God. Charles Michael "Mike" Lewis, age 60, of Benton, AR, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 31st, 2025. Mike was Born on July 8th, 1964, in Pine Bluff, AR at Jefferson Hospital. He was baptized at East Side Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR. Later in his life he converted to Episcopal and attended St. Marks Episcopalian Church in Little Rock.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Charley Lewis; and step-father, Michael "Big Mike" Ford.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Harris Ford; his three children, Lauren Goodson (Jason) of Cabot, AR, Andrea Phillips (Josh) of Little Rock, AR, Margaret Anne Turner (Kyle) of Conway, AR; granddaughter, Sylvia Jane Phillips; as well as several extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He was a proud father, devoted son, and passionate sports fan. Mike graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1982. He then attended the University of Arkansas and received a bachelor's degree in business with a minor in chemistry. He worked for many years in medical equipment sales for Phillips Medical systems and traveled often.
A true Arkansas Razorbacks fan, Mike's love for the Hogs ran deep. Whether watching football, basketball, or baseball, he could always be found cheering on his team, often sharing his passion with his family. Game days were special occasions, and Mike's excitement was contagious, making every Razorback win feel like a personal victory. Mike coached several sports and loved being a part of a team. His sense of humor, passion for the Hogs, and love for his family defined who he was. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel Ralph Robinson and Son, 807 Cherry St. Pine Bluff at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8th, 2025. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Mike's life and the memories he leaves behind.
