MICHAEL JOSEPH LOCONTI, age 24, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2025 after an automobile accident; cherished son of Lisa (nee Lauric) and Henry Jr.; devoted brother of Jon-Anthony, Henry III, and Carmen; beloved grandson of Carole (nee Massella) and Ted Lauric, and the late Jessie and Henry Sr.; loving nephew, cousin, and loyal friend to many.

Michael was born December 11, 2000, in Chardon, Ohio. He attended St. Gabriel Elementary and graduated from Lake Catholic High School in 2019. Michael went on to attend Cleveland State University proudly graduating in 2024 from the Washkewicz College of Engineering with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Michael worked hard at everything he did. He always said, "It's not broken, it's just not fixed yet." And Michael took that approach to everything in his life; from his own health and well-being, to his relationships, to his hobbies and work. His work ethic and commitment to excellence was unparalleled.

Above all Michael was a cherished son and brother. His ties to his brothers were deep and strong. They went to school together, socialized together, created music together and worked together. They will remain best friends for eternity.

Michael began his musical career at 11 years old and eventually became a professional drummer and co-founded 3 bands; Silver Sage, Mount Royal and LoConti. His drumming and musicianship was perfection. Michael was excited about his future and recently bought his first car and found employment at WCCV, an ADG company where he worked with his Uncle Michael.

From Michael's own writings; He wanted to make his community and the world a better place. He wanted to lead people in a direction of success and purpose. He wanted a beautiful, kind, loving and compassionate wife. He wanted a career that took him out of his comfort zone and made him a better person. He wanted amazing, deep connections and relationships with people whether friend or foe, family or stranger. He wanted to feel and be competent and live a fulfilling life for himself and for his family. And his reason was; Why not? And because God is watching.

Michael accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was committed to sharing his knowledge with others. Michael was a light in this world that will live in the hearts, souls and minds of all those he touched for eternity.
