Michael Loeffler Obituary

Michael Edwin Loeffler was born in Escondido, CA December 12, 1957 to Louise and Alan Loeffler. He grew up in a boisterous and loving home, the youngest of 4 boys. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, water and snow skiing with his family. As a teenager he bought his first dirt bike and renewed his love for riding while on family vacations camping with dear friends. Later he took up golf and enjoyed many rounds with his golf buddies who became his close friends.
In college he met, fell in love and married Linda Jenkins. Shortly after he completed dental school, his oldest brother (also a dentist in Lindsay, CA) passed away. Michael and Linda moved from San Diego area to Lindsay and purchased his brother's dental practice. Together they raised 3 wonderful children. Their love remained strong throughout 39 years of marriage.
Michael loved his work and patients. He had a heart to serve others. But his family was always his main focus, he was a dedicated father and husband. He would finish his workday, and rush to one of the kid's events, or take the family to the lake for the evening.
In spite of his tough talk, he had a soft spot for stray animals, rescuing many.
Michael died following a brief illness on November 15, 2021.
He is survived by his wife Linda and his children Nathan (Hillari) - grandchildren Cameron, Emriya and Tavian of Visalia, CA; Cameron (Shelbey) - grandchildren Elliott, Colt plus one on the way, of McAllen, Texas; Nichol (Preston) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is also survived by his brothers Teryl Loeffler (Olivia) of Tucson, AZ and Mark Loeffler (Patty) of Rancho Mirage, CA as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Scott, and his parents Louise and Alan.
Anyone who knew Michael well, knows he loved the Lord. We will miss Michael terribly, but we are comforted by the Lord's promise of Heaven and we will see him again.
There will be a Celebration of Life after the first of the year. Announcement to follow.

I am just now learning of Dr. Loeffler passing. I am so very saddened by this news. Dr. Loeffler was truly a wonderful man and my heart goes out to his family and employees. He took such good care of me as his patient. I just saw him in October and he seemed very much himself. What a loss to our little town. I will miss you Dt. Loeffler!

So sorry to hear of Dr.'s passing. My family has been associated with this practice since I was a child. In the past years we grew to know what a great doctor he was and what a kind gentle and caring person he was. I know there are no words to express how it feels to lose a loved one but may God keep you in his loving arms and give your family the strength you need to go on. Carmen, Louis & Mike Wilson. shared
