Michael Loggins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCalla Memorial Funeral Home on Dec. 3, 2025.
Michael Glenn Loggins, 50, passed away peacefully at his home on December 3, 2025. Born on May 22, 1975, Michael lived a life filled with humor, passion for the things he loved, and a deep affection for his family.

Michael graduated with honors from Gilmore Bell. Throughout his life, he became known for his sharp wit, dry humor, and the way he could make even ordinary conversations entertaining. "Ya know?"

He enjoyed comic books, music, movies, football, and WWE. He was an avid comic book collector and reader. His taste in music was wonderfully eclectic-he could shift from classic rock to metal without hesitation. He was also a devoted movie watcher and could recall details about films, characters, and cinematic universes with ease.

College football was one of Michael's greatest joys, especially when it came to cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. Saturdays in the fall were made for football and commentary. One of his favorite rituals was listening to The Paul Finebaum Show. He especially loved mocking the callers, offering his own play-by-play of their antics with the humor his family and friends knew him best for.

Michael was known for his witty banter and carried an impressive knowledge of sports, Marvel, pop culture, and entertainment. He was the unofficial family expert-always ready with a recommendation, a fun fact, or a hilarious opinion. His conversations were lively, sharp, and memorable.

He was the heart of his family. Michael cherished his role as an uncle, and his niece and nephew, Sadie and Cade, lovingly called him their "Guncle"-a title that brought him tremendous joy. His presence brought comfort and laughter.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Glenn Loggins.

Michael is survived by his mother, Wanda Loggins; his brother, Christopher Loggins, and his wife, Jessica-"Queenie"; his niece and nephew, Sadie and Cade Loggins; and his special cousin and best friend, Brannen Earnest. They will forever hold close the memories of his humor, knowledge, and the love he shared so generously.

Michael's passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired and the stories he leaves behind.
