Michael Ray Long, 71, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on February 15, 2026, in Farmington, New Mexico. Michael was born on October 13, 1954, in Farmington, New Mexico to parents Elvin L. Long and Georgia L. Long.
Mike graduated High School in 1972 and took many jobs. He was a delivery driver for a major been company before he went into construction and became an expert drywaller. He did that until his cancer forced him to retire. He fought cancer for years before he was taken by it. He fought cancer for 12 years before he was taken by it.
Michael is preceded by his wife Marrion Joppa, parents Elvin L. Long and Georgia L. Long.
Michael is survived by his brothers Jerry Long and Ronald Long, and sister Adella Mullis.
A private immediate family gathering was mike’s request. No other services will be held.
