MICHAEL LOOSEMORE Obituary
June 21, 1966 - February 6, 2024
Santa Fe - Michael (Big Mike) James Loosemore, 57, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on February 6th, 2024, with his loving daughter Rachel by his side, after a long battle with esophageal cancer. Mike loved his family and friends and loved to spend time chatting whenever the opportunity arose; he effortlessly made friends wherever he went. He loved his dog Bleu, going to the gym, working out, and helping anyone who needed help. He was a lifelong Steelers fan and enjoyed watching football with his best friend, Mr. D., aka John Doolittle Sr. Mike was born in Erie, PA, in 1966. Although he lived in Santa Fe for most of his life, Mike's heart was always in his hometown of Erie.
He is survived by his daughters Rachel Doolittle-Loosemore, Jessica Doolittle-Burton, and Sarah Doolittle; partner Beverly Doolittle; mother and father Linda and Joseph Wright; sister Rita Kloszewski; Nephew Joey Maske; niece Heather Leanna; half brother Gregory Lane; aunt Gladys Irwin; and aunt Mary Mueller (husband Martin); and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank the PCU staff at St. Vincent Hospital for the care and support provided during his last days.
Services will take place on March 9th, 2024, at Santa Maria de la Paz (11 College Ave., SFNM). The rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Internment will be held at a later date in Erie, PA.

I´m sorry about Mike. We worked together at RAP. He was the coolest man I worked with. I lost contact with him after moving. I was wondering about him a few weeks ago. Such a great lose. May God welcome him into his kingdom. God bless the family. Fly with the angels Mike.
