Michael P. Lopez, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was born on March 27, 1952, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Alfred P. Lopez and Bonnie Adams.
Michael was a man of great spirit and warmth, known for his infectious smile and loving heart. His passions were evident to all who knew him, particularly his unwavering support for the Denver Broncos and his enthusiasm for All Star Wrestling. Michael's vibrancy and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Adams of Neosho, MO, brother, Joseph Hernandez of Cheyenne, WY, sister, Bonnie Ann Fox of Neosho, MO, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who cherished him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred P. Lopez, and numerous family members that he loved very much.
A Rosary honoring Michael will take place on July 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:30 AM, with both services held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 219 W Pine St, Rawlins, WY, 82301 with Father Mark Kusmirek.
Michael's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember him for the joy he brought into their lives and the love he shared so freely. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society. The family would also like to thank Davis Hospice, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Home Health Cheyenne, and his nephew Gabriel Hernandez.
