Michael Lozen Obituary

Michael was born on November 22, 1953, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to Bertram and Marion Lozen. He showed unwavering courage during his tireless fight against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Jacklen Lozen; his children, Nicholas (Courtney Lozen), Andrew (Karina Lozen), and Lisa (Christopher Serra); and his seven beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Caroline, Grace, Frederick, Jack, Charlie, and Peter. Michael is also survived by his brothers, Bertram, Norman, and Donald, and his sisters, Barbara and Patricia. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Geraldine, Dorothy, and Catherine. Numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends will also carry him in their hearts.
Michael found great success as both an accountant and entrepreneur. Known as a human calculator and wizard with numbers, he worked tirelessly to grow his many business ventures, including, but not limited to, three of 'America's Finest' Auto Washes.
He had deep roots in his Catholic faith, remaining a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens and a dedicated supporter of the Church and missions.
Michael's many passions include spending endless time with his grandchildren, Michigan football (Go Blue!), the Detroit Tigers, reading and learning about world and American history, golfing, cottage life on Lake Huron, trips to Northern Michigan and Florida, and various adventures traveling. Above all, he cherished his family. His greatest joy in life was "the woman [he] loved."
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 8:00p.m. on Monday, November 10th, at Wujek Calcaterra & Sons, 54880 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Township, MI 48316. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. following the 9:30 am Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, November 11th, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043. Wake to follow.
