Mike was born April 12, 1965 to Michael J. Mann Sr. and his wife Nancy (Timmerman) Mann, and spent his adolescent years in the Milwaukee area.
Mike enjoyed a long and successful career in the construction industry, early-on working for his uncle on large projects in California, Las Vegas and Hawaii.
After moving to Marinette, WI to be close to his parents Mike started a construction company and was a successful general contractor in NE Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for a number of years.
Mike's next adventure was in the role of VP International Sales for Action Floor Systems LLC which took him to nearly every corner of the globe selling and designing custom sports facility flooring to be utilized by world famous basketball teams during major competitions. What an interesting business niche!
Mike enjoyed golf, fishing and snowmobiling with his two sons and his good friends as well as deer camp for the food and fun to be had there. He also loved complex computer games and vintage TV shows. He literally did not pass away until a Perry Mason episode ended at 7pm! Mike also spent many hours with his two sons working on financial planning and investment strategies on FaceTime during his final years.
Mike is survived by his two sons: Michael J. Mann III, Robert C. Mann (SO/Cristin Sutliff) and their mother Julie; his sister Michelle (Fred) Mann; brothers John (Robin) Mann, JR (Misty) Mann, nieces, nephews and with special regard for Gary, Chuck, Norm in Australia and his employer Tom.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Nancy, his brother Chris as well as Aunts and Uncles from both the Timmerman and Mann sides of the family.
Mike was an outgoing and friendly guy who will be sincerely missed.
There will be no formal services. A private memorial gathering will be held by the family.
Special love goes to Mike's sister Michelle who supported and helped her brother navigate through the rough waters of his final life journey.
The family would appreciate donations made to the American Cancer Society.
