Michael was preceded in death by his father Bob and sister Angela.
Michael will be remembered dearly by his friends and family.
Michael Louis Marek passed away on June 1st, 2025 at the age of 48 with his wife and children by his side. Michael was a lifelong resident of Irving, Texas. Michael was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend. He was a wonderful person who would help anyone. His smile lit up any room he entered. He enjoyed music, sports, and any new adventures. He especially loved spending time with his family, friends and his 2 dogs.
Although Michael is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
Michael is survived by his wife of 13 years Shelby Marek, his 3 daughters Kati Marek (Fiance Charleston Jerger), Taylor Marek, Addison Marek, and 2 bonus children Lawrell Parker (Dylan Parker), and Harper Guthrie; 2 granddaughters Kinsley and Journee Jerger, and 1 bonus granddaughter Olivia Jo Parker; His mother Brenda Marek, a nephew as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousin.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Bob Marek and his sister Angela Marek.
Michael's celebration of life will be on Saturday, June 21st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Nueva Vida Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
Memorials can be made to the Brain Trauma Foundation or the Trauma ICU at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
