Michael Martirano Obituary
Raised in Italy, he immigrated to the United States as a teenager settling in Newark, NJ. ,
A man of many talents, Michael was a barber, restaurateur and a successful entrepreneur living the American dream.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
Michael is survived by his wife Norma Martirano, daughters - Josephine Tutela and her husband Ronald Tutela, Melissa D'Andola and her husband Nick D'Andola, step-son Anthony Fernicola, sister Rosa (Martirano) Dotro, grandchildren Jacqueline, Daniella, Ronnie-Michelle, Michael and Nick, great grandchildren Aiden, Sofia, Adriana and numerous nieces and nephews
He was pre-deceased by his son Pasquale Martirano, his parents Pasquale and Guiseppina(LaTorre), and his siblings Frank, Rocco, Antonio & Jack Martirano.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Thursday, April 2, 2026 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
