Roy Martirano Obituary
Roy Martirano of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on March 30th, 2020 at 77 years old. A beloved father, brother, grandfather, and uncle, Roy is survived by his son, Keith; his grandson, Joseph; his sister, Maryann; and nieces, Denise and Tiffany. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and William Martirano.
Roy was born in Queens, New York. His love for carpentry led him to his lifelong career as a master carpenter both in New York and in Florida. He will be most remembered for his outgoing and generous personality as well as his deep love for his family and lifelong friends. Roy was a collector of trains, planes, and boats. When he wasn't working, he looked forward to spending quality time with his family who came to visit from New York as well as his cousins who currently reside in Florida. We will always carry his laughter and sweet memories in our hearts. May Roy rest in eternal peace and always be remembered.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, a Celebration of Roy's Life and a memorial service will take place at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Queens, New York.

I was so shocked to have heard of your passing Roy. I can not believe God has taken you away . He must of needed another angel in heaven. Roy you are an angel. I have never met anyone whose kindness & thoughtfulness were bigger than life itself.
Roys personality was so magnetic. We had a special friendship. He called me Mrs Packer and I called him Cowboy Roy. His love of guns and his trains were his hobbies . His love for his friends and family were most important to him. He would call me daily just to check up on me or come by for a cup of coffee. He was a light in my life.
He is missed and will be truly missed by me for the rest of my life. Roy you were an angel here on earth and now you are an angel in Gods kingdom.
May you rest in peace Cowboy Roy.

First and foremost, I would like to wish MY uncle a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY in heaven. Uncle Roy, you are so miss by OUR family. I wish he was here so we could celebrate his birthday with him. As MY uncle always said, "OUR FAMILY COMES FIRST. BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER. AND ABOVE ALL, NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN COME BETWEEN HIM AND HIS FAMILY" After the passing of his wife 14 year ago, MY uncle enjoy doing what he loved most; carpentry with HIS ONLY SON, Keith whom he loved very much, playing with his trains, & spending time with HIS FAMILY. His son, sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and cousins were among THE MOST IMPORTANT people in his life. After being a bachelor for so many years, MY uncle enjoyed spending time with his many friends in his community. I miss our many daily phone calls, sending each other silly pictures, and most of all, reminiscing about OUR family memories. Who did Roy love most, HIS FAMILY. He always said that. When someone walked into his house, what did they see?...... dozen of pictures of HIS SON, HIS FAMILY, AND HIS NIECES. No one was more family oriented than Roy. He was the best uncle in the world. I know that MY uncle is looking down from heaven and smiling because HIS FAMILY came together after his tragic passing and will continue to do ANYTHING they can for him. Our family will never be the same without Uncle Roy. He was a build-in best friend and companion to all who knew him. He never singled out one person. Everyone was very special to him and he treated everyone with an equal amount of love. He considered everyone his lifelong companion which is why he was loved by everyone. May his soul rest in eternal peace now and forever.
