Michael Mauller Obituary
Mic lived a full and hardworking life. After graduating from Union County High School, he attended Business College and proudly served six years in the Indiana National Guard. He went on to spend most of his career in the manufacturing industry, where he was known for his steady leadership in multiple management roles. For 25 years, Mic dedicated himself to Johnson Metal Products/Door Company before retiring in 2008.
On November 12, 1966, Mic married the love of his life, Lois (Charles) Mauller, at Brownsville Methodist Church. Their nearly 60 years together were filled with many memories with beloved family and friends.
Mic was a loyal member of the Masonic Liberty Lodge No. 58 and found joy in many passions-drag racing, coon hunting, and touring the open road on his Harley-Davidson with friends and family. Nothing meant more to him than his family. He was happiest when surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by them all.
Mic is survived by his wife, Lois; his son, Troy (Kathie) Mauller; granddaughters Kristin (Ben) Underwood and Kara (Alex) Burk; and five great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his brother, Monte (Carol) Mauller; his sister, Louann (Mike) Morrow; his brothers-in-law Urban Charles and Kevin Hart; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service and celebration of Mic's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
