Bernardo “Michael” Mendez Mendez, 36, of Webster City died Sunday, September 7, 2025 following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m to 8:00p.m. with rosary and a scripture service to follow on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Bernardo Michael Mendez Mendez, was born August 30, 1989 in Guatemala to Irineo and Dionila Mendez. He received his education in Guatemala and moved to the United States in 2010. He owned his own roofing company EA Construction Inc. and helped his family at API Roofing.
He is survived by his daughter, Eileen Mendez; brothers, DJ Mendez, Jonathan Mendez, Abel Mendez, Danilo Mendez sisters, Alicia Mendez, Yeimi Mendez; his father and mother, Irineo and Dionila Mendez.
Bernardo “Michael” Méndez, de 36 años, de Webster City, murió el domingo 7 de septiembre de 2025 luego de lesiones sufridas en un accidente automovilístico. Una misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. el sábado 20 de septiembre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de Santo Tomás de Aquino. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Graceland. La visita se llevará a cabo de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con el rosario y un servicio de las Escrituras a seguir el viernes 19 de septiembre de 2025 en Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
