Michael (Mike) Milliken, 78, of Winslow, IL, died on December 29, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born September 14, 1946, in Freeport, IL, to the late LeRoy and Hilda (Niesemeier) Milliken. He graduated from LeWin High School in 1964. On February 24, 1973, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Patty) Stumbaugh in McConnell, IL.
Mike proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a door gunner. Mike worked as a Local 150 heavy equipment operator and later would become a business agent for the local until his retirement.
Mike was a member of the Gratiot VFW, the Winslow American Legion, and a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 150.
Mike is survived by his children: Brad (Jenny) Milliken of Winslow, IL, and Erin (Lyle) Rich of Machesney Park, IL; his grandchildren: Joe and Hannah Milliken, Abby, Emma, and Madilyn Rich; and his first great grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Patty.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
Cremation rights have been accorded, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
