Michael T. Millisor

Michael Thomas Millisor, 67, of New Albany, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at Riverside Hospital surrounded by family.
On October 2, 1954, Michael was born in Marion, Ohio, the oldest of six children to the late Thomas William and Mary Alice (Andrews) Millisor. He graduated Salutatorian from Marion Catholic High School in 1972 and Summa Cum Laude from Marian College of Indianapolis in 1976.
Mike spent several years as an executive with the Travelers Insurance Company in Dayton, OH, Atlanta, GA and Hartford, CT before returning to Ohio. He then completed a Masters degree in Religious Education and dedicated 20 years of service to The Diocese of Columbus. He served as Director of Religious Education at Holy Spirit Parish and St. Edward The Confessor Parish in Granville, Ohio, from where he retired in 2019.
An avid reader, sports and music enthusiast, Mike enjoyed attending Major League Baseball games, Ohio State football, and concerts. Mike also enjoyed many years of officiating high school football both in Connecticut and Ohio.
Mike will be missed by his surviving siblings, Timothy (Renee) Millisor of High Point, NC, Patrick (Michelle) Millisor of Columbus, Father Daniel Millisor of Columbus, Charles (Karen) Millisor of Greensboro, NC, Mary (Brian) Grim, Columbus, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Monday, Sept 12 from 5-7 p.m. at St Edward Church, 785 Newark Granville Rd, Granville, OH 43023. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Sept 13 at 10 a.m. at St Edward. A luncheon will follow the Funeral Mass. Graveside Service will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Marion, OH at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Edward The Confessor Church.
