Michael Monastero

Michael J. Monastero, 75, passed away on March 1, 2025 in his residence. He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Urban) Monastero. They shared 38 wonderful years together.
Born in Norristown on March 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Carolyn (Pink) Monastero. He graduated from Spring Ford High School. Michael is a proud Air Force veteran. He worked in an array of jobs from sales to driving trucks. In his free time, you could find him in the garden, tending to his plants, out fishing, or taking his motorcycle for a ride, and traveling. He is also a former president of the Lyons Club of Kulpsville. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and infectious smile.
In addition to his wife, Ann Marie, those cherishing Michael's memory are his children, Tamara "Tami" Dunleavy, wife of Nathan, and Alicia Garner; his brother, Francis Monastero, husband of Jo Ann; and his six grandchildren; two nephews; and two grandnephews. He is predeceased by his daughter, Celeste Monastero; his granddaughter, Emily; and his sisters, Nina Clark, and Eileen Monastero.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
