Michael Mowen Obituary
Michael was born on January 22, 1973, in Monmouth, IL, the son of Kelly and Vicki (Johnson) Mowen. Michael attended school in Roseville, IL and had graduated from Avon High School in Green Bush. He was united in marriage to Shannon Kirkpatrick on August 10, 2001 in Wyoming. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Michael is survived by his wife, Shannon of the home; one daughter, Michelle Pepper of GA; his parents, Kelly and Vicki Mowen of Avon, IL; three step-daughters, TeAnna Holloway of AL, Stephanie Wetterling of IL, and Cheyenne Tarochione of IL; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Corey (Crystal) Mowen of Berwick, IL; his best friend, Chris Kidder of Monmouth, IL; and leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael never met a stranger. He had many, many friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
