Michael Mullenix Obituary
Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa Anne Howard-Mullenix of Guyton, GA, and his two daughters, Alyssa and Breanne Mullenix, both of Guyton, GA. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Jason Mullenix, and his wife, Amber and Alan Williamson, and his wife Kelly, along with in-laws Marilyn and Jimmy Howard, and sister-in-law, Lori Rudbeck, and her husband, Ben. Mike leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Kayson, Cameron, Jonathan and Leanne, as well as a wide circle of friends who were touched by his adventurous spirit and loyalty.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Bonnie Lynn Mullenix Rose, his father, Michael Grey Mullenix and step-mother, Barbara Waugh Mullenix; who now welcome him in peace.
Mike dedicated his career to EMD Chemicals, where he excelled as a Chemical Quality Specialist. Outside of work, he was known for his love of adventure, including skydiving and scuba diving experiences that truly brought him joy. A man of Baptist faith, Mike embraced life with enthusiasm and an open heart, inspiring those around him with his passions and zest for living.
The family extends an invitation to join them in honoring Mike's life. Visitation will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, on Thursday, November 21st, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm, also at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Mike's adventurous spirit, which he shared so freely and with great heart.
Mike's legacy will forever endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
