Nastase , Michael F. Twin Lake Michael Frank Nastase, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on September 21, 1950, to Michael H. and Doris (Mines) Nastase in Muskegon. Michael worked for many years for Boeing Aerospace as a senior buyer until his retirement in 2013. He worked on many projects throughout his time there, including specifics on the space shuttles. During his retirement he returned home to Michigan where he could be found enjoying his life on West Lake. He loved classic rock music, especially Elvis Presley. He had a passion for all things Sci-Fi. He will be remembered the most for being a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Michael is survived by his sister, Tina (Ron) Stalsberg; nieces, Angela (Milton) Delgado, and their children Kaiden and Gabriella, Erin (Bryan) LaFond and their children, Corbin, Lorelai, and Setra, and Charley Barley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Doris Nastase; and grandparents, Bedia and Felix Mines. A graveside service for Michael will take place on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery. A memorial service for Michael will take place at a later date.
