Skip graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1982. After high school, he obtained his EMT and EMT Specialist Certification. Skip loved ham radioing, tinkering with cars, and mowers. He was always doing something around the house as well as being a caregiver.
Michael "Skip" Neorr is survived by his mother, Marcia Neorr, fiancé, Carey Green, siblings, Heather (Scott) Andrew, Joel Neorr, and Nathan (Anne Golden) Neorr, step-children, Bobby Tyll, Frank Tyll, Billy Tyll, and Shannon Proper. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry "Mick" Neorr, and long-time partner Kathleen Bolger.
Skip lived life by applying common sense and simple physics.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Roscommon Township Hall, September 6th at 2 pm. Food and limited beverages provided. Memorial contributions in memory of Skip are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter or the American Heart Association. Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
