Michael Nick, 42, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025. Born on April 11, 1983, Michael lived a life defined by his deep love for his family, his hardworking spirit, and his joy in the simple pleasures of the outdoors and good times shared with loved ones.
Michael’s greatest passion was his family. He lived for creating lasting memories with them. He loved hard and worked hard, always trying his best to provide. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and fulfillment in gardening, fishing, and building projects with his own hands. Michael also knew how to have fun, whether it was dancing, sharing laughter, or captivating friends and family with his storytelling.
He leaves behind a profound void in the lives of those who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Heather Nick; his children, Leeland Barth, Emma McDonald, Adria Barth, and Joey Nick; his mother, Judy Rivers; his father, Robert Nick; and his siblings, Cathy Hubler and Brian Nick.
Michael left us far too soon, leaving a hole in our hearts that time will never fully mend. His memory will live on in the stories, the laughter, and the love he shared so generously. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In Michael’s famous fashion “You know I love you, right?”
